Michael & Brennah

March 6, 2027

If we had it our way, this section would just say: “We met. It worked. Please enjoy the open bar.” But apparently wedding websites require more words than that.

Thanks for being here. We’re really glad you are. We cannot wait to celebrate with you as we make this whole thing official.

- Brennah & Michael

The Couple

Brennah & Michael

So here’s the real story.

Thirteen years ago, Michael was walking across America on a cross-country backpacking trip when Brennah first saw him wandering through her hometown and made the very reasonable assumption that he was homeless.

To be fair, he had a backpack, questionable clothing, and the general vibe of a man who had been personally betrayed by showers.

They became friends, but they would not start dating until nine years later, when life somehow brought them back to each other.

The random guy walking through town became the person Brennah would one day build a life with. And Michael, who had already walked thousands of miles looking for something he probably could not explain at the time, finally found the one thing that made him want to stop looking.

So yes, our story technically started with a mistaken homeless-man sighting.

But it turned into home.

Registry

We are beyond grateful to be celebrating our wedding with the people who mean the most to us. Whether you are coming from down the street, across Connecticut, Pennsylvania, New York, or somewhere even farther, it truly means the world that you are making the trip to be with us.

Your presence is already more than enough. Having our family and friends together in one place to celebrate this next chapter is the real gift. But for those who would like to give something, we have thoughtfully put together a registry with items that will help us build our home, our future, and the life we are so excited to keep creating together.

We have so much to look forward to and have also included cash gift options for anyone who would like to contribute toward our future plans and experiences.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We cannot wait to celebrate with you.

The Society Room - Hartford, CT

The Society Room of Hartford, located on historic Pratt Street, began over 200 years ago as the state’s first bank, the Society for Savings, with its first dedicated building built in the 1830s. It underwent major renovations, especially in 1926, adopting an opulent Renaissance Revival style with grand marble columns, ornate plasterwork, and ceiling murals, transitioning into the glamorous event venue it is today, known for its Great Gatsby ambiance, massive oak doors, and original bank vault.
